About OPMT
Who we are and why we built this
Our Mission
OPMT (One Piece Market Tracker) was built by One Piece TCG collectors who were tired of missing price spikes because the market moved faster than manual research. Our goal is simple: give every collector access to the same depth of market intelligence that was previously only possible with hours of daily data analysis.
We track real-time prices, offer books, and sales velocity across the entire One Piece TCG catalogue — from Romance Dawn (OP01) to the latest sets — and turn that raw data into clear, actionable signals using our original scoring algorithms.
What Makes OPMT Different
Most price trackers show you a chart. OPMT goes further by computing three distinct investment signals on top of the raw data:
- LT Score (Long-Term) — a composite 0–100 rating based on pull rate, character popularity, market scarcity, rarity tag, set age, and relative value. Updated nightly across the entire catalogue.
- ST Score / Hot Deals — identifies cards where buying fewer than 50 copies would push the price up 50% or more, flagging imminent supply squeezes before they happen.
- MT Score (Medium-Term) — a balanced blend of LT and ST that surfaces cards with both strong fundamentals and active short-term momentum.
These are not price aggregations — they are original algorithms developed and refined through months of back-testing against real market movements. Premium users can customise all scoring weights to match their own investment strategy.
Our Data
Price and offer data is sourced from CardMarket — Europe's largest TCG marketplace — via a licensed API integration. We sync offer snapshots and detect sales twice daily, giving the scoring models a continuously updated view of supply and demand for every card in the database.
Card pull rates for special variants (Manga, SP, SSP, Treasure Rare, and others) are researched and maintained manually by our team, cross-referenced against official set information. These are the foundation of the LT Score's pull rate component.
Who Built This
OPMT is an independent project built and operated by a small team of One Piece TCG enthusiasts and software developers. We are not affiliated with Bandai Namco, the One Piece licence, or CardMarket. We built the tools we wished existed when we started collecting.
The project is actively maintained and updated as new sets release and the market evolves. Community feedback — especially from our Discord — directly shapes what features we build next.
