Everything you need to know about OPMT

๐Ÿ“–What is OPMT?

OPMT (One Piece Market Tracker) is a tool for tracking One Piece TCG card prices and spotting investment opportunities. It pulls real-time market data so you can see where a card's price is heading โ€” before everyone else does.

At its core, OPMT gives you three types of scoring:

  • LT Score โ€” long-term investment signal based on a card's rarity, pull rate, franchise relevance, and market fundamentals.
  • ST Score / Hot Deals โ€” short-term opportunities where low supply and active sales suggest an imminent price spike.
  • MT Score โ€” medium-term blend that balances both: cards with strong fundamentals and recent momentum.

Free accounts can browse the dashboard and view card details. Premium unlocks the Custom Score builder, letting you tune the LT scoring weights to match your own investment strategy and run per-card custom score calculations.

๐Ÿ“ˆLT Score (Long-Term)

The LT Score is a 0โ€“100 composite signal indicating how attractive a card is as a long-term hold. A higher score means the card has stronger fundamentals relative to its current market position. It is computed nightly and shown on every card page.

The default formula uses seven enabled categories. Each produces a 0โ€“100 sub-score and is weighted proportionally โ€” the weights below sum to 100.

ComponentWeightWhat it measures
Pull Rate21%Expected packs needed to pull one copy. Cards like Manga, SP, SSP require hundreds of packs โ€” these score highest. Regular non-special cards score 0 in this category.
Popularity18%Character's central importance to One Piece lore, ranked manually by the admin. Luffy (#1) scores 100; unranked characters receive a neutral 25.
Sales Velocity LT14%Detected sales over 30d and 90d, normalised against the typical volume for cards of the same special type. A Manga card that outsells other Manga cards ranks better than a common with higher raw volume.
Scarcity11%Number of available NM listings on the market, on a smooth curve: โ‰ค25 copies = full score, over ~1,250 copies = 0.
Rarity Tag11%Based on product tags, not the raw rarity field. Manga / SSP = 100 ยท Wanted Poster = 85 ยท SP = 75 ยท Manga Event / Treasure Rare = 50 ยท Leader AA = 35 ยท SEC = 30 ยท Alt Art = 25 ยท None = 0.
Market Arbitrage10%TCGPlayer (US) price versus CardMarket (EU) price. When the same card trades 25โ€“50% higher in the US, the EU price is usually lagging โ€” a bullish signal.
Rarity Relative Value8%How the card's current price compares to the median for cards of its same set and rarity class, with a velocity check to filter out stale listings.
Set Age7%Older sets (Wave 1: OP01, ST01โ€“ST03) have fewer new copies entering the market. Newer sets have fresh print runs and lower scores.
Additional categories exist (Price Trend, Market Activity, Meta Relevancy, PSA Grading, and others) but are disabled by default. Premium users can enable and tune any of them using the Custom Score builder.

The weights above are the website defaults. Premium users can create their own formula with custom weights โ€” see the section.

โญST Score / Hot Deals

The ST (Short-Term) Score powers the Hot Deals page. A card qualifies as a Hot Deal when its offer book shows that buying fewer than 50 copies would push the price up 50% or more. Once it qualifies, it gets scored 0โ€“100 across five dimensions:

ComponentMaxWhat it measures
Supply Scarcity20 ptsTotal NM/English listings. โ‰ค20 copies scores full points.
Sales Velocity25 ptsAverage daily copies sold over 30 days. Higher turnover = higher score.
Price Momentum +25%20 ptsCopies needed to push the price up 25%. Fewer copies = tighter market.
Price Momentum +50%15 ptsCopies needed to push the price up 50%. The eligibility threshold.
Time to +25%15 ptsEstimated days until the price target is reached at current sales pace. โ‰ค3 days = full points.
Tip: Cards are re-evaluated after every sync (twice daily). A card can enter or leave the Hot Deals list as its supply and sales change. Check back regularly โ€” the best deals can disappear quickly.

Only cards priced above โ‚ฌ0.50 are considered, and deals expire after 7 days if not refreshed by the next sync.

๐Ÿ”ฎMT Score (Medium-Term)

The MT (Medium-Term) Score blends the LT and ST scores with the card's 30-day price trend:

MT Score = 40% ร— ST + 40% ร— LT + 20% ร— 30d price trend

The trend component maps the current price against the 30-day average: ยฑ3% counts as neutral (50), and the score saturates at ยฑ15% (100 for a strong rise, 0 for a strong fall). Cards without enough price history fall back to a plain LT/ST average.

A card needs both a strong long-term foundation and active short-term momentum to rank highly. Cards that score well on fundamentals alone (high LT, no ST signal) or on short-term supply compression alone (high ST, weak fundamentals) will rank lower than cards where both forces are aligned.

The Medium Term tab shows the top 50 cards ranked by MT score. It is a Premium-only feature.

Tip: The MT leaderboard is one of the most actionable views in OPMT. Cards here are not just technically cheap (LT) or just supply-squeezed (ST) โ€” they combine both signals, which historically produces the most reliable price moves.
MT Score is only computed for cards that have both an LT Score and an ST Score. Cards without an active Hot Deal signal will not appear on the Medium Term leaderboard, regardless of their LT Score.

๐ŸงฎPrice Increase Calculator

Every card detail page has a Price Increase Calculator. It walks through the live offer book to estimate exactly how many copies would need to sell before the cheapest listing reaches your target price.

1
Open any card page and scroll to the "Price Gain Calculator" section.
2
Enter a target price increase percentage (e.g., 30% or 50%).
3
Hit Calculate. The tool shows:
  • How many copies need to sell to reach that price
  • Estimated days based on the card's 30-day sales average
  • Whether the estimate is exact (within visible listings) or extrapolated
When the target price is beyond the visible listing range, the calculator extrapolates using the slope of the visible offer curve. These results are marked "estimated".

Linking your OPMT account to Discord

1
Go to your Account page and click Connect Discord.
2
An 8-character code will appear. Copy it.
3
In Discord, run /link [code]. The code is valid for 30 minutes.
4
The bot confirms your account is linked. Your tier and credits are now active in Discord.

๐Ÿ”—Linking your CardMarket Identity

When you run /card [name] country:[XX] in Discord, OPMT shows the cheapest NM/English listing in your chosen country. If the seller has linked their CardMarket identity to their OPMT account, the bot will tag them directly in Discord.

Why a "seller hash" and not a username? The market data provider (TCGGO) deliberately hashes seller names to prevent direct contact outside their platform. The real CardMarket username is never exposed by the API โ€” only a unique hash tied to each seller account.

How to discover your seller hash

1
Go to CardMarket and find a card where you know you are the cheapest NM English seller in your country.
2
In Discord, run: /card [card number] country:[your country code]
Example: /card OP01-001 country:PT
3
If you are indeed the cheapest seller, the bot will display your full seller hash in a code block below the price โ€” something like:
7df6dc1f73202cbfaa4fd9fba9efd948cbc81b258b7425315b38bf05c79d0a33
4
Copy the entire hash. Go to your Account page โ†’ CardMarket Seller Hash โ†’ paste it and save.
5
From now on, whenever anyone searches for a card in your country and you are the cheapest seller, the bot will tag your Discord account automatically.
Tip: Pick a card you sell frequently and that you are confident you hold the cheapest NM English listing for in your country. Leader cards or popular commons with many copies work well since they're easy to verify.

Your seller hash only changes if CardMarket changes their internal seller ID system, which is extremely rare. Once set, you won't need to update it.
